Choose Amazon Delivery Day

I know that most of you are not like me - you’re probably close to finished with your holiday shopping. But for those of us who like to do it all in one day (with a small dose of panic) Amazon is pretty great.

And while I appreciate their two-day shipping for a lot of items, I try to choose “Amazon Delivery Day” for my shipping preference. The reason? Our orders get lumped together into one package. This saves on packaging material, but more importantly, it cuts down on the number of stops the drivers have to make. This in turn means that they can use less gasoline, producing less emissions.

Every little action that we can take to reduce the amount of waste or air pollution has a collective effect. See if you can do your part this year to make our planet a little greener!
