Winter is Coming!

Are you ready for winter? We spent this past weekend raking leaves, emptying hoses, and adding mulch to our garden beds.

Animals seen and unseen are also preparing for the cold weather. I’ve seen a chipmunk with very full cheeks running away from our bird feeders and have NOT seen any reptiles (like snakes) or amphibians (like frogs and salamanders) in quite a while. Come to think of it, this weekend might be the last I see of some of our neighbors for a while too!
