Buy Bigger

Think about your last grocery shopping trip. How many items did you buy that came in single servings?

Could you have bought a bigger container and divided it up?

Making buying decisions like this can save you money but also the planet. When you buy in bulk, less packaging is required. Less packaging means less raw materials needed to make the packaging, less electricity to produce it, and less shipping costs as well.

Invest in smaller, reusable containers if you need to make your serving sizes portable for school or work lunches. Bonus if they’re made out of stainless steel or glass!

Bottom line? Less packaging = better for the planet. What can you do differently this week?
